The metro is the fastest way to travel across the city, while the tram network is ideal for reaching central districts and popular sightseeing areas. Bus services complement the network by connecting areas not served by metro or tram, including RET Bus 33, which provides a direct connection between Rotterdam Centraal Station and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Please note that NS trains, Waterbus, Water Taxi, Night Buses, and transport operated by other companies are not included in the RET travel card.
Metro Lines
Metro A — The A Line connects Binnenhof with Schiedam Centrum, passing through Rotterdam Centraal, Beurs, and other major stations in the city centre. Metro B — The B Line runs from Nesselande to Steendijkpolder, providing a direct east-west connection through Rotterdam Centraal and Beurs before continuing towards the western suburbs. Metro C — The C Line connects De Terp with De Akkers, serving Rotterdam Centraal, Beurs, and Zuidplein, making it one of the city's main cross-city routes. Metro D — The D Line runs between Rotterdam Centraal and De Akkers, continuing south across the Erasmus Bridge area and serving key destinations including Zuidplein. Metro E — The E Line connects Den Haag Centraal with Slinge, providing direct access to Rotterdam Centraal, Beurs, and Meijersplein, where passengers can transfer to RET Bus 33 for Rotterdam The Hague Airport.

How do I activate my Conetpass Rotterdam?
Your ConnectPass will be a 100% digital ticket sent by email after purchase. Please follow the instructions you will receive by email for activation.
When does my Conetpass Rotterdam ticket validity start?
Your Conetpass Rotterdam ticket becomes valid from the moment of activation. All tickets are valid for consecutive calendar days and remain valid until the end of service (up to approximately 4:00 a.m. the following morning) on the last valid day.
The 1-day ticket is valid for 1 calendar day from activation. For example: if first activated on Monday at 5:00 p.m., it remains valid until the end of service on Monday (approximately 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday).
The 2-day ticket is valid for 2 consecutive calendar days from activation. For example: if first activated on Monday at 5:00 p.m., it remains valid until the end of service on Tuesday (approximately 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday).
The 3-day ticket is valid for 3 consecutive calendar days from activation. For example: if first activated on Monday at 5:00 p.m., it remains valid until the end of service on Wednesday (approximately 4:00 a.m. on Thursday).
The 5-day ticket is valid for 5 consecutive calendar days from activation. For example: if first activated on Monday at 5:00 p.m., it remains valid until the end of service on Friday (approximately 4:00 a.m. on Saturday).
Can I use my airport shuttle ticket outside the validity period of my pass?
No, the airport connection must be used within the validity period of your RET travel pass. Your ticket for RET Bus 33 is linked to your public transport pass and is only valid while your travel card is active.
Can I use the airport shuttle ticket in either direction?
Yes. Your RET Bus 33 airport connection can be used in either direction: from Rotterdam The Hague Airport to the city or from the city to Rotterdam The Hague Airport.

How can I book tours at a reduced rate?
Each ConetPass includes a “Special Promotions” section with a unique promocode. Use this code when booking directly on tour operators’ websites to receive discounts up to 25% — the exact percentage varies by tour operator. Find your promocode in the email titled “Your Pass is Ready” sent after your booking confirmation.
Are there discounts for children, seniors, groups, or families?
At this time, ConetPass does not offer promotional discounts for children, seniors, groups, or families. All customers pay the same price. However, young children can travel free on Munich public transport under certain age conditions (see next FAQ).
What is the age limit for children to travel free on Rotterdam public transport?
Children aged 3 and under travel free of charge on Rotterdam public transport and do not need a ticket.
For children aged 4–11, a child ticket must be purchased. Children aged 12 and over require a regular adult ticket.
Note: Free travel policies for children are determined by RET and apply to all tickets, including those purchased through Conetpass.
