Conet Group, through its Conet Pass brand, will take part as a Gold sponsor of The Budapest Exchange 2026, Europe’s leading conference on digital ticketing and mobility innovation, taking place on 14 and 15 October in Budapest at the Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel.
Now entering a new chapter after nearly a decade as the Budapest Smart Ticketing & Digital Services Forum, the conference brings together transport authorities, public transport operators, technology providers and institutions from across Europe to discuss digital ticketing, digital wallets, account based ticketing and cross border interoperability projects.
An established presence in Budapest

The decision to take part in The Budapest Exchange builds on an existing link with the city: Budapest is already part of the Conet Pass network, and the company will bring its direct experience to the conference on how technology and transport integration can make public transport simpler and more accessible for international travellers.
Integration and sustainability at the core of the Conet Pass model
The Conet Pass model is built on the idea that sustainable urban mobility depends first on integration: fewer paper tickets, fewer stops at ticket counters, less time spent understanding different fare systems from one city to the next.
